Job Description

We’re looking for a Head of Finance to join and lead our finance team. You’ll be responsible for driving performance through data and analytics and for tackling some of our most critical business issues. You will collaborate with teams across the entire company to translate financial objectives into strategic insights and decisions. Successful candidates will combine strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to set and achieve financial milestones, approach problems in a structured way, and leverage cross-functional partnerships to achieve business plans. This role reports to the CEO.

What you'll do:

  • Lead Forum’s annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting to ensure end-to-end consistency in reporting and targets
  • Foster partnerships across cross-functional teams to support in execution of strategic initiatives such as P&L optimization, G&A review, capital allocation, vendor negotiations, strategic deal support and more
  • Analyze and communicate company KPIs to drive insights and inform decisions in service of achieving financial objectives
  • Prepare, deliver and improve company-wide financial reporting on business performance and variance analysis via weekly business reviews, monthly close and quarterly investor updates
  • Develop a high performing team through coaching and management

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a finance position with 2+ years of management experience
  • Outstanding problem-solving and quantitative skills with the ability to manage ambiguity to resolve high-impact business problems
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to synthesize and deliver analysis to all stakeholders
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional partners to deliver on performance goals

Bonus points if you have...

  • Familiarity with NetSuite
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting
  • Experience in the Technology, eCommerce, or consumer goods space
  • Experience at an early-stage start-up
