We are seeking attentive and compassionate individuals to join the Thunder's award-winning Guest Relations team as we strive "to be the most fan-centric organization in professional sports." We are looking for outgoing and personable people to contribute to our team as we improve the guest experience during Oklahoma City Thunder home games! Our Guest Experience Representatives ensure our guests are taken care of with the utmost care and attention from arrival to departure. As a representative, you will be responsible for building a friendly and welcoming environment as the first impression for all who visit the arena and play a pivotal role in ensuring all guests have a fun experience while cheering on our Thunder basketball team.


In this role you will:


  • Develop a solid understanding of the “CLICK! With Your Guests” training program and recognize other frontline staff demonstrating core values
  • Direct and escort guests to seat locations, attractions, and amenities within the arena
  • Responsible for maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards throughout Fan Information Booths and arena, as needed
  • Support the Guest Relations department by serving as the contact point for guest needs and issues, answering guest questions, and providing guest recovery
  • Assist with the organization and administration of the Fan Information Booth collateral pieces, promotional materials, fan-related item, etc.
  • Serve as a Thunder game night ambassador delivering best-in-class internal & external customer service to guests and front-line staff, crafting memorable moments


What you’ll bring to the role:


  • Retail or customer service experience is preferred
  • Outstanding leadership skills and proven ability to be a proactive problem-solver
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Ability to handle pressure situations in a fan-centric manner
  • Polished communication skills and experience working with people from all walks of life
  • Minimum age requirement, 18 years
  • Strong skills in multi-tasking, organizing and attention to detail


Additional information:


Work schedule will include evenings, weekends and holidays with the ability to work 90% of all Thunder home games and department events. Physical requirements of the job may include shifts up to six hours at a time, occasional lifting to 50 pounds and working in the presence of loud in-arena noise and flashing lights. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Guest Experience Coordinator. Primary work location will be Paycom Center located in downtown Oklahoma City. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
