Group Practice Administrator Jobs

There are 5 Group Practice Administrators in the School of Dentistry Teaching Clinic. These Group Practice Administrators are assigned to approximately 25 teams of dental students (up to 140 students) serving as the primary support person for the practice and the Group Practice Directors assigned to the particular practice. The Group Practice Administrators have a number of responsibilities including monitoring the treatment of the patients that are assigned to the group practice, scheduling appointments, providing advocacy for both patients and students, faculty support, assigning patients to students in consultation with Group Practice Directors, imputing students block rotation, and other duties such as sending written correspondence to patients.

Required/Preferred
Registered dental assistant, dental assistant or equivalent experience in a dental office or school clinic setting.
