This is work maintaining and coordinating the maintenance of grounds and yards.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

- Removes dirt, rubbish, leaves and all other refuse from grounds.
- Maintains lawns, shrubs and trees.
- Coordinates the work of laborers.
- Keeps records of equipment.
- Performs related work as required.
- Makes regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that grounds are maintained properly.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Skills in using lawn mowers, tree trimmers and cutters and other garden tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques.
- Ability to maintain lawns and grounds.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to keep records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year experience in groundskeeping and/or landscaping.
