Grill Cook Part-Time Jobs

POSITION SUMMARY: The Grill at The Course at Wente Vineyards is looking for a PT cook to work at our busy Grill Restaurant, preparing and executing high quality-volume grill menu items. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Ability to work with little or no supervision, have strong decision making skills and takes pride in being a self starter.
• Demonstrated ability to be a dependable team player, and able to handle the pressure of a busy and small kitchen. Candidates must have reliable transportation, and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenin
• Daily walk through of walk-ins, check organization and proper food rotation. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:
• Work on the line
• The ideal candidate must possess good communication skills and be comfortable handling guest issues.
• Perform all kitchen prep duties
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a line cook
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all Café kitchen equipment.
