Position Summary

Detail orientated creative individual with a positive attitude. A blank page designer; who can take concepts from little direction to full realizations. A good grasp on basic design and the knowledge of fonts and pen tool. Adobe Illustrator and vector skills necessary. Knowledge of color separations, keen eye for color, and file organization a plus.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes artwork provided in format, then creates or recreates the proper digital representation of what/ how the image will print best.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Create visual solutions on golf balls for customer needs
  • The ability to work and function on a PC; high knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop with a basic knowledge of design insights e.g. PMS, file types and functions, proper sizing techniques, layer organization, ppi resolutions.
  • Ability to type errorless personalizations proficiently.
  • Determines style, technique, and medium best suited to produce desired effects and conform to reproduction requirements, or receives specific instructions regarding these variables.
  • Works with customer service to provide customers with efficient and satisfactory logo experience.
  • Color separations for pad printing process, separating logos correctly, support of production.
  • Discusses illustration at various stages of completion and makes changes as necessary.
  • Experience with brand manuals and logo user guidelines, Ensures brand policies and rules are followed.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Two year degree in Graphic Design or related field with five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret logo ball graphics. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints either internally or externally.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and separation knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications
