Job Summary

• The Graphic Designer should be passionate about design and want an opportunity to grow professionally by supporting the visual aspects of the health care system. The Graphic Designer will assist the Senior Graphic Designer and Director with conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. The Graphic Designer will work to create, update and refine marketing materials ensuring brand consistency, following the Avera graphics and brand standards that include, but not limited to, ads, brochures, displays, booklets, digital assets, mailings and signature pieces for service lines and other health care specific pieces. This is a collaborative environment, and will be able to work independently, be passionate about his/her creative vision, and at the same time be able to accept direction and fully incorporate input based on the needs of colleagues and management.​

Education And/or Experience

• Agency experience is a plus
• Minimum of a two-year associate’s degree in graphic design is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Two to five years of professional experience is preferred.
• Efficiently operate Macintosh computers

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $20.00-28.75 per hour
