Job Description
Summary


  • Hybrid role preferred in office 1-2x/week. Remote is flexible.
  • Global Commodity Manager, IT Services (software)
  • Contract duration estimated 12 months, extension TBD.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Ensure an appropriate supplier management.
  • Manage internal client and supplier relationships.
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in global market developments.
  • Corporate Services Sub-Commodities include Hardware, Hardware Maintenance, Hardware Services, and Network.
  • Management (LAN/WAN, Fixed Voice, Mobile Voice, Phones, etc.) and/or Software and Software Services.
  • Lead Terms and Conditions and price negotiations.
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance.
  • Achieve defined cost reduction targets.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Consulting with internal Stakeholders for best and sustainable solutions.
  • Developing commodity strategies.
  • Drive user satisfaction and adoption.
  • Develop Commodity Strategies and supplier portfolios.
  • Good understanding of the relevant legal framework.
  • Manage Global Team meetings with Users to assure Service level.

Minimum Qualifications


Software skills / Knowledge:


  • C.P.M. Certified Purchasing Manager is a preferred certification.
  • Required At least 5 years' experience in global purchasing activities for above commodities.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Preferred.
  • Prior experience leading projects and project teams.
  • Individual contributor role with demonstrated leadership within cross-functional team, decision making and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player who thrives on a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
