Job Description
Global Real Estate Portfolio Manager
Reporting to the Manager of Global Real Estate, the position will lead the leasing portfolio management for Bose’s global real estate portfolio & projects. In addition, this position will ensure best practices of the end- to-end lease portfolio and real estate transaction management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of real estate solutions to support business strategy on specific location and portfolio levels globally for office, warehouse, and specialty spaces. This includes working closely with leadership, business units, HR, Finance, internal Global Real Estate & Workplace Services teams and global vendor relationships.
Manage project schedule, scope, execution activities, budgets, approvals and reporting with key stakeholders and project team.
Be the trusted real estate expert with a complete understanding of the leases, market economics, rents, and business conduct across multiple cultures in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
Experienced and effective negotiator.
Complete negotiation of LOIs and partner with Legal for lease reviews & negotiations to legal document completion.
Partner with cross-functional teams (business units, HR, WPS, Finance) to deliver high value real estate solutions while driving effectiveness and efficiencies.
Lead leasing efforts in supporting corporate acquisitions & dispositions through real estate due diligence, portfolio and lease analysis, and execution.
Lead team through purchase or sale of land and/or buildings.
Responsible for reporting and tracking of leased locations and project critical dates, providing executive update summaries, and managing the project approval process in a timely manner.
Lead ongoing assessment of space disposition opportunities. Lead teams through financial opportunity analysis, align with management on strategy, manage real estate advisors/brokers, coordinate with Design & Construction.
Continually improve lease and owned building asset management processes, standards, metrics and reporting by leveraging benchmarking and industry best practices.
Manage global vendor relationships effectively and efficiently.
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement for Global Real Estate and Workplace Services
Skills and Experience:
10 years of experience managing lease acquisition and disposition projects, as well as portfolio management, delivering real estate solutions and lease program management with excellence.
Ability to lead significant projects with multiple stakeholders in a medium to large corporation with locations across North America, EMEA and APAC.
Highly driven, flexible, team-focused with ability to communicate, collaborate and problem solve with cross-functional teams as well as motivate all levels of the organization.
Manage multiple tasks at a time with a high degree of skill and time efficiency.
Able to simultaneously organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects of varying complexity and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, business or relevant field.
Strong PC skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
It is anticipated that approximately 15% of time will involve travel.
