Brand Marketing Product Management Center of Excellence is looking for a Brand Product Expert Lead to plan seasonal product usage across multiple categories, functions and geographies. Serving as a resource for Brand Directors and Brand Managers on seasonal product flow you will work with your manager to pinpoint key priorities and apply standard methodologies, standardize process and manage workstreams. You will bring effective communication, influencing skills, problem solving and attention to detail to elevate product usage for Global Brand Marketing (GBM)!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Be proactive by networking with key partners to fill open product needs beyond what has been ordered and allocated for activation, shoot, seeding, or event
  • Be informed of corporate and seasonal strategies and executions in the marketplace
  • Make good decisions by aligning product needs with availability and exploring ways to enhance budgets, usage and Geo applicability
  • Be engaged through pre-, production and post-production: Ensure the right product is used in the right way and is represented accurately to the consumer
  • Be accountable to align product usage to the seasonal creative strategies and themes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Usage Planning and Communications
  • Use strong communication skills to partner with different groups within the matrix to identify key seasonal looks and styles
  • Coordinate with Product Specialists to manage product delivery dates against Brand Production plans and timelines
  • Support the Brand Managers/Brand Directors on quarterly Brand Architecture and Quarterly Business Review deliverables
  • Allocate, schedule and improve product usage
  • Ensure product alignment and availability to seasonal brand initiatives
  • Confirm product updates, changes, drops
BRAND MANAGEMENT AND CREATIVE PRODUCTION
  • Assist Stylists to arrange product racks and coordinate looks for shoot, ensuring all product is available
  • Create, update and document key looks
  • Be available to answer product related questions
  • Source any accessories and additional product as needed prior to sessions
  • Serve as onsite Brand Product Expert
ASSET MANAGEMENT
  • Be the product/brand guardian and monitor to ensure product usage authenticity
  • Attend shoots, events, shows to support on-site Stylists
  • Work with planners to plan product through its lifecycle: from acquisition to disposition
  • Steward and shepherd the product to/from location
  • Build, share and track retouching notes
  • Track and locate product in/out during production
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
  • Check product in/out of warehouse/central storage facility
  • Elevate risks and issues
  • Ensure accurate return and/or disposal
  • Adhere to operational policies
  • Manage unauthorized seeding
  • Manage unauthorized usage, timing and exposure
  • Adhere to policies, procedures and standards as outlined by Nike Product Security
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Work with manager to develop project strategies, ensure these are tracked upon and objectives are met
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, utilization rates, working hours and expenditures
  • Build and lead post production recaps that collect key performance indicators (KPI’s) and report out successes and opportunities
  • Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) required for the role and job
  • Document and follow up on important activities and actions leading up to and following post production
  • Coordinate, attend and participate in key partner meetings
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and elevate risks and issues and to head them off proactively
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ experience in marketing, business, communications, sports marketing or related field
  • Strong business sense for brand, resource and project management
  • Passion/expertise for sports products (footwear, apparel and equipment) and youth culture
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Previous production, project management and or agency experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail with a Solutions and purposeful attitude
