Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to lead our sourcing activities and drive cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure the availability of materials and services required to support business objectives. • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring supplier performance meets established standards. • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, process improvements, and other initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities, including product development, quality, and logistics teams. • Analyze market trends and identify new sources of supply to ensure the most cost-effective procurement of materials. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, engineering, and operations teams. • Develop and manage procurement budgets for assigned categories.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, with a focus on cost savings and supplier management. • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Experience with ERP systems is preferred
