Dove is the largest Personal Care brand in Unilever and in recent years has enjoyed spectacular rates of growth. Alongside Dove’s stature within the Unilever portfolio, the brand is loved by millions of consumers worldwide for both its products and its commitment to Real Beauty. As a Global Associate Brand Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on the iconic Dove business during a period of rapid growth in Scrubs & Premium bars. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in development of fantastic mixes from idea to launch, work with industry-leading agencies to help bring these projects to life for consumers, and partner with local markets to land key initiatives and drive business growth.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
As an Associate Brand Manager on the global team, you will play a critical leadership role in developing strategy, innovation, and communication. We are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills, a naturally proactive attitude, creative thinking skills, and an abundance of love for consumers and trends.
The Associate Brand Manager will need to bring dynamic attitude and passion to:
  • Partner with local markets to develop launch strategy, retailer partnerships, and in-store programs and display
  • Lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver innovation and sustainability projects on time, in full within the region and globally
  • Create communication assets with a focus on the target consumer, and market
  • Design and craft innovation to deliver against key consumer pain points, including concept, design, product, pack, and full mix development
  • Work closely with Consumer Market Insights and key business partners to ‘Get on the Front Line’ to identify core consumer insights and product benefits.

You love to win, and have fun doing it: You will lead core projects, closely collaborating with cluster leads to identify opportunities to deliver growth and responding to competitive dynamics, to win with our consumers and in the market.
You’re a changemaker: You will need to be agile and persuade those around you to adapt to the changing market dynamics and competitive pressures in order to continue the growth trajectory of the brand.
You’re a storyteller: You are an excellent communicator and influencer who can craft convincing, visually-stunning stories - grounded in business fundamentals - to persuade leadership and local markets to invest in and support the business
You’re a paradox navigator: When the going gets tough, you don’t give up. You actively find solutions and navigate complexities, and in the end do the right thing for your brand and projects
You’re a culture & change champion: You think differently – these are ever changing, competitive times with brands in a unique environment.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Understand different geographies to position a brand, project, innovation around the globe
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams while working with and influencing stakeholders
  • Innovation and communication development experience is a plus (writing insightful briefs and concepts, developing business cases etc.)
  • A high attention to detail, process-oriented, and a motivated self-starter
  • Advanced project-management and strategic thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field required, MBA is a plus, but not mandatory with 3+ years of marketing experience (Consumer products industry preferred!)
  • Display excellent influencing, communication skills towards stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative, resourceful and “can do” attitude, with excellent bias for action
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with demanding project schedules.
  • Analytical skills to dig into the details and a capacity for deriving insights to ultimately make recommendations for the business.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
