We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Monitor Technician to perform electrocardiogram (EKG) monitoring and other basic diagnostic tests on patients in a healthcare setting. The Monitor Technician will be responsible for monitoring patients' heart rates and rhythms, interpreting EKG results, and notifying healthcare professionals of any changes or abnormalities. The ideal candidate should have experience working as a Monitor Technician, a strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring principles and practices, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to maintain dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform diagnostic tests. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Perform cardiac monitoring on patients using electrocardiogram (EKG) equipment. Interpret EKG results and notify healthcare professionals of any changes or abnormalities. Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses and physicians, to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient information, EKG results, and progress notes. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a certified monitor technician program or equivalent experience. Minimum of [insert number of years] years of experience working as a Monitor Technician. Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
