Project Manager

Founded in 1977, TriStrux provides comprehensive turnkey telecommunications service solutions to the industry's largest wireless telecom carriers, equipment OEMs, MSOs, and tower companies. The company leverages in-house and subcontracted labor to accommodate all aspects of the telecommunications industry, focusing on telecommunication, fiber, 5G and civil installation and construction services in the largest US metro areas and more than 20 states nationally. In December 2021, the company completed an investment for majority control from Huron Capital, a Private Equity firm based in Detroit, MI. The company competes in markets leveraging an addressable market of $55B in annual wireless carrier capital spending.


Job Summary


The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts. They will provide strategic guidance to teams that promote the company's culture, while overseeing the progress of operations. The Project Manager oversees a team of construction managers, project coordinators, and foremen to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. They will also delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.


Responsibilities


  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Leads a team to complete an assigned project(s) on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.


Required Skills/Abilities


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Ericsson a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.


Education And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, desired or relevant job experience in lieu of degree.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • At least five years of related experience required.


Physical Requirements


  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
