General Laborer Jobs

Job Summary:

We're seeking a hard working and dependable laborer to peform a wide variety of tasks related to maintaining a clean, safe and organized shop. This person will also load/unload materials and run for parts. This person may also assist the Shop Mechanics with the repair of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the shop organized and safe, including sweeping, mopping and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Assist Shop Mechanics with the repair of equipment
• Load and unload materials
• Other tasks as assigned by management
• Running for parts

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam preferred
• Good communication skills
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Dependable
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Good work ethic
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks

Work Location: Williamstown, KY

Base Wage: $14 - 17/hour

Total Rewards: GSI offers a competitive total rewards package that includes profit sharing, and excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. GSI also offers retirement benefits in the form of a 401k plan, that includes a match of 4% of your base salary. In addition we offer Wellness Time which consists of thirteen (13) paid days off based on a standard work week of 40 hours, equivalent to 104 hours annually. Wellness Time is prorated based on your start date and resets each year on January 1st.
