Job Description
Priority Staffing Group is seeking to fill several General Labor positions for one of Southern Illinois largest recycling plants. Positions are available in Marion and Carbondale, Shifts are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, with an occasional Saturday morning until noon, overtime will be provided.


Job duties will include, but are not limited to:


Processing recyclable materials


Separating materials and sorting based on material.


Operating forklifts to move materials for processing.


Responsible for keeping a clean work area and ensuring hazardous materials are separated.


Responsible for cleaning equipment that is used and maintaining the equipment so that is works properly.


Previous experience in a warehouse setting is helpful, along with previous equipment experience.


Starting pay is $16/hr. Once hired on with the company, health insurance is available 30 days after your hire date. After a year of becoming an employee, there is a 401K package with the company matching at least 25%. Paid holidays, and vacation time is also available after 1 year of hire.
