General Laborer Jobs

The General laborer is an entry level position. The laborer is responsible for performing a variety of general landscape installation and maintenance tasks under direct supervision.

Essential Capabilities:

• Shovel snow from walkways and apply salt to maintain them in a safe condition.
• Operate gas powered mowers, blowers, and string trimmers.
• Perform landscape bed preparation and cleanup using hand and power tools.
• Perform duties such as spreading of mulch or decorative stone, planting of trees, planting of shrubs and ornamentals under supervision.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Reports to work at the dedicated location and time each day.
• Follows direction from supervisors and management.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and guidelines.
• Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for advancement.

Requirements:

• Clean and professional appearance.
• Highly motivated individual who is detail oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun fast paced environment.
• Able to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
• One year minimum verifiable landscape company work experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Punctual and dependable.
