Position: Weekend Video Game News Writer (Remote)

Game Rant is looking for eager and talented Weekend Video Game News Writers to join its News team.

As a weekend news writer, prospective applicants will assist with covering the biggest topics in video games, editorializing important details about the most popular titles, and diving deep into a variety of video game communities.

If you share a passion for video games, a love of writing, and a willingness to learn, you've come to the right place!

Responsibilities:

• Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
• Successfully maintain a contracted freelance schedule.
• Write a minimum of three news articles per day Friday through Sunday.
• Report to Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:

• Regular weekend availability to contribute to the site Friday through Sunday.
• A solid grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide audience.
• Experience in SEO practices.
• Ability to source information/news from different websites.
• Broad knowledge of gaming history and culture.
