Fusion Global Academy has an opening for an AP English Teacher beginning July 5, 2023. This position provides a student centered, supportive classroom that promotes compassion and tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking while addressing the individual academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion's differentiated approach and adhering to the College Board guidelines to prepare students for the AP exam in English Language and Composition or English Literature and Composition.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students and a classroom forum for holistic growth.
• In addition to subject matter tutoring and teaching, this position includes significant student mentoring.
• Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
• Develop and maintain genuine, positive and consistent communication with parents.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.
• Provide a one-to-one teaching experience in the areas of AP English Literature or AP English Language to students in grades 10-12. Position may include teaching non-AP English courses as well.
