Full-Time Analyst - Technology Advisory (Menlo Park)

What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire a full-time Analyst for its Technology Advisory group in Menlo Park, CA. Both experienced Analysts as well as recent graduates with relevant internships qualify.

Where is the role located? The primary Evercore West Coast Technology office is located in Menlo Park. The new hire will need to live in or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Work start. The role is for an immediate to near-term start.

Primary Responsibilities: Evercore Analysts are highly motivated individuals with a broad range of experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions with a focus on the technology industry. Analysts must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and possess the desire to learn and work hard.

Analysts will work on a variety of assignments including: acquisition advisory, capital raising, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships and joint ventures. As part of the team assigned to these projects, individuals will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, industry analysis, due diligence and new client development. Analysts typically work as part of small teams and have close contact with senior client contacts as well as partners within the firm.

Specific Qualifications:

• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Intense work ethic
• Graduated from a top school with Finance, Accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character
• High attention to detail
• 1-2 years of investment banking experience or a relevant internship if recently graduated
• Undergraduate class of 2022 or 2023 for recent graduates
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
