Job Description
**NEW WAGES**


The City of Lincoln Park is accepting applications for Full Time Firefighter Paramedic (NON-SAFER positions). If the candidate holds a State of Michigan Paramedic license and does not have Firefighter I or II certification, the city offers opportunities for paid fire academy training.


New Hire Firefighter Paramedics are eligible to receive a $1,500 signing bonus with a two-year signed agreement, payable upon successful completion of the probationary period.


Annual Wage Scale Effective January 1, 2023


Firefighter $53,869.50


12 Months $56,699.75


24 Months $58,350.67


36 Months $61,652.49


48 Months $65,056.30


60 Months $67,606.55


Lateral Transfer Pay with qualified experience.


Minimum Qualifications Of Applicant


18 years of age


Legally employable in the United States


No felony convictions


Valid State of Michigan Driver's License


High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate


State of Michigan Paramedic license


All candidates must pass a background investigation, psychological exam, physical with drug screen.

  • Copy of CPAT or OPAT Physical Examination Certificate
  • Copy of State of Michigan Firefighter I and II Certificates
  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization
  • Completed copy of the "Background Screening Application Form"
