About the Role:

Sundays is looking to meet the demands of our growing business by adding a Fulfillment Manager to our Supply Chain & Logistics team. This individual will oversee and optimize our order fulfillment and shipping strategy. A successful candidate will act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL/4PL), ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of our products to customers. This is a brand new role for our company, so you’ll be a part of establishing best practices and will get to be a part of building the foundations for success!

Mission:

To oversee and optimize order fulfillment process and shipping strategy. A successful candidate will act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL/4PL), ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of our products to customers.

Responsibilites

• Proactively identify and address potential shipping/logistical issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
• Analyze shipping and fulfillment data to identify cost savings opportunities and operational improvements
• Act as liaison between Sunday’s CX, Marketing, and Product teams and 3PL to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and delivery for customers and special projects
• Develop and maintain performance metrics for the fulfillment and logistics function
• Develop and implement sales and operations planning processes, working closely with the growth and product teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels
• Drive key metrics with our partners such as order accuracy, on-time receipts, on-time fulfillment, costs, and inventory control
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in logistics and fulfillment, proactively identifying opportunities to improve our operations
• Manage relationships with 3P/4PL partners, ensuring high levels of service and compliance according to contractual obligations

Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
• Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Familiarity with API integrationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Strong understanding of carrier selection, transportation modes, and freight pricing
• Direct experience with 3PL management and contract negotiations - experience with 4PL management is a bonus
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in fulfillment management
