Position Summary
- Ability to forward sensitive information in a professional timely manner.
- Answer calls and play the role of gatekeeper.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties involved in scheduling appointments, exams and procedures, and processing forms and data.
- Responsible for the reception duties in the Administration office, greeting visitors, responsible for ensuring a positive customer service environment both in person and in receiving telephone calls.
- Updates employee directory
- Provide limited administrative support on an as needed basis for various departments within their organization.
- Performs other clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, as assigned.
- Knowledge of administrative office principles.
- Ability to be reliable.
- Knowledge of state behavioral health individual and agency licensure regulations and requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially over the phone
- Familiarity with EMR software / patient scheduling
- Knowledge of state and local behavioral health resources.
- Knowledge of SMI diagnoses and behavioral health services delivery systems policies and procedures.
- Able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
- Legal filing a plus
- Comfortable with answering calls, transferring as appropriate.
- Knowledge of the principles of cultural competency and adherence to its philosophy.
- Knowledge of the principles of behavioral health recovery and adherence to REN’s philosophy.
- A High School Diploma/GED and 1 year administrative experience.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- A current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Demonstrated experience in the support of multiple departments, preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
- Standard office environment and mobility to travel between various organizational worksites and/or external meetings.
- Ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, and sound judgment in an ever-changing environment with multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to create and maintain required documents.
