We are currently searching for a dedicated and reliable Receptionist to join our Hunton Distribution team at the Central Greens location (by Bush International Airport).
Regular business hours M-F.
The Receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming calls in a timely, courteous, professional manner, and directing calls to the appropriate person/department/location . (Representing the Hunton Group at all times.) As the primary point of contact for anyone who either calls or physically enters the facility, it is critical that the selected person be presentable, polished, well versed and friendly.
There is a lot of foot traffic at this location, so the person must be able to multi-task both the phones and people at the same time. Main duties: Answers and directs calls in a courteous and timely manner. Responsible for troubleshooting any minor changes to phone system from console. Greets customers / anyone who walks in, notifying the appropriate person regarding their guests. Offers water or coffee while the person is waiting to be picked up for their meeting, interview, etc. Demonstrates excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. Keeps a log of who has entered the facility (time in and time out) who they were there to visit with. Sorts daily mail and distribute accordingly Reserve conference room(s) as requested by management via intranet site. Update all internal phone lists and updates organizational charts as needed. Prepares and received all outgoing and incoming mail / packages. May order lunch from time to time for meetings. Folds, stuffs, and mails out invoices. Trains backups for phone support. Makes sure all reception & surrounding areas within the scope of the reception area are clear and presentable always. Assists with miscellaneous projects. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years related experience with a multi-line phone system preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have reliable transportation as attendance and tardiness have been an issue in the past with this role.
