Description


We are looking for a motivated multi-tasker with front desk experience to join our growing team as a Front Desk Patient Advocate at our Lincolnton, NC pediatric clinic.


Basic Accountability Statement


To ensure Compleat patients receive the highest customer service and manage all front desk responsibilities efficiently.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Oversight and maintaining an efficient schedule that supports both the patients and therapists in alignment with the Daily Scheduling Parameters
  • Administrative duties and entry of data into EMR system
  • Resolution, in conjunction with ABA Clinic Lead, of conflicts that may hinder progress and growth at assigned clinic
  • Collection of patient balances and holding of services determinations
  • Tracking referrals and referral sources while developing/maintaining relationships with the referral coordinators
  • Re-create schedules to accommodate vacations, staffing levels, holidays, etc.
  • Drive compliance for current and new patients to insure a 90% weekly compliance
  • Working with central scheduler, benefits, and authorization department to insure compliance with established metrics
  • Maintain a First Pass Payment Rate of 90% or greater
  • Supply ordering for office and clinical needs
  • Responsible for No Activity List and working with Lead Therapist to get patients scheduled
  • Ability to discuss insurance benefits with patients and formulate a plan for payment of services rendered
  • Execute daily activities that drive meeting performance metrics established for assigned clinic
  • Push reschedules
  • Posting of checks mailed in by patients to account
  • Engagement of marketing activities with Lead ABA Therapist at his/her discretion
  • Implementing clinic systems/processes as discussed during Lunch and Learns
  • Other duties/items as growth and needs dictate
  • Responsible for Corrections Queue issues for assigned clinic and correcting these issues within a 24-hour time-frame
  • Insuring correct patient demographic information and monthly updates to insure correct information is entered
  • Organizing workflow and prioritize activities at assigned clinic to meet performance metrics
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all patients and colleagues
  • Insure compliance and Medicare guidelines are followed
  • Insuring all information is entered for claims to release for billing
  • Collection of co-payments and deductibles at a 90% weekly compliance rate
  • Weekly bank deposit (reconciliation and making the deposit)


Education


High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Associates degree or above is preferred.


Experience


  • Basic computer experience, familiar with Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills. Health care experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a front desk/receptionist and 2 years of customer service experience.

Working Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
