Front Desk General Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the team at the Baymont Inn & Suites Downtown Battle Creek. AS the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotels operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the property. Your dedication to exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and leadership skills will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards that define the optimal hotel experience.

Responsibilities:

Must work 6 days a week

Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to all hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.

Operational Excellence:

• Implement and maintain cost-effective measures to manage expenses while upholding quality standards.
• Oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of all hotel departments, adhering to Baymont Inn's standard operating procedures.

Sales and Revenue Management:

• Participate in local events, build relationships with corporate clients, and explore new business opportunities to drive bookings and revenue.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Prepare and manage the hotel's annual budget, closely monitoring expenses and revenue performance.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
• Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry. (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and build guest relationships.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.

Salary range: $35,000-$45,000
