Job Description
We Are Hiring:
  • Hospital: Ascension St Mary's
  • Schedule: Full time, Day shift. M-F
  • Location: Saginaw, MI
  • Department: Imaging Support Office

What You Will Do:
Work in a customer service capacity providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in an outpatient clinic and/or medical office setting.
  • Enter, review and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily. Collect co-payments and reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
  • Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification. Complete medical record release requests and schedule/confirm patient appointments.
  • Provide general office and clerical support to assigned out-patient/medical office.
  • Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and obtain necessary documentation. Verify and enter demographic information.
  • All other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • Medical terminology and medical computer experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
