Job Description
Job Summary A front desk agent is responsible for running the front lobby of an establishment, including welcoming visitors, taking their information, issuing room keys, and choosing the best room to fit their needs. You will provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities, address problems guests have with their rooms, collect payments and settle the register at the end of the workday. We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to their team to manage all aspects of hotel guests’ accommodations. Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring your areas of work are kept clean throughout the day
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Servicing hospitality meeting rooms within agreed timescales
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Being accountable and responsible for your own mistakes
  • Problem-solving
  • Experience with hotel reservations software, like Lightspeed
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
  • Flexibility
