What You Will Do:

As the Fractional CFO at Destify, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and providing guidance on key financial decisions. You will work closely with the Revenue team and COO to optimize financial performance, manage risk, and drive profitability. This is a part-time position, where you will provide your expertise on a fractional basis, dedicating a set number of hours per month.

  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts to track the company's financial health and performance
  • Assist in financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and tax planning
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to the executive team to inform strategic decision-making
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business planning and investment decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial position
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth objectives
Requirements:

What Skills You Have:

  • Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller, or similar senior finance role in a small to medium-sized company
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, or related field (master’s degree preferred but not required)
  • Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are desirable
  • Experience in managing financial operations, including cash flow, risk management, and compliance
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Familiarity w/ EOS a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the company's industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities with a track record of driving financial performance and growth
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of financial software and tools
