Job Description

First Presbyterian Church in Odessa, TX is seeking a passionate and dedicated Solo Pastor to join our vibrant congregation. With a membership of 101-250 members, our church is deeply committed to building a community of followers of Jesus Christ who love and serve all.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading joyful, nourishing, and inspirational worship services.
  • Initiating inclusive group studies to grow our church in worship and study.
  • Engaging with members of all ages, supporting and guiding them in their faith journeys.
  • Providing consistent leadership and shaping the future of our church.
  • Collaborating with experienced staff and church members to further our mission and vision.
  • Addressing the emerging needs of our community and constituency through outreach and service.

  • Demonstrated spiritual maturity and a deep understanding of Presbyterian traditions.
