Job Summary

Operation of sit-down, propane forklift in manufacturing facility in a fast paced shipping department. Requirements & Responsibilities

• Ability to sit for duration of shift, up to 8-10 hrs per day
• Ability to operate power hand tools
• Picks up parts, paper, objects and residue off the floor and around work stations
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled work environment
• Perform repetitive steering, backing and/or other movements as necessary to operate a sit down forklift
• Follow specific directions
• Standing, walking, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pressing buttons, operate digital monitor on machine
• Follow all established processes and procedures
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety regulations and practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 pounds as required
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process
• Must have reliable transportation and outstanding attendance
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift and mandatory overtime as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Work Experience

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs using safe lifting techniques
• Minimum of 2+ years of forklift/warehouse experience.
• Safe work record and stable work history.
• Ability to read/comprehend sales order, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
• Knowledge of loading/unloading/storage requirements.
• Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport product, load/unload trucks
