FOOD SERVICE WORKER

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Part time, 70% FTE
  • Check and monitor cold food items temperature, par level stock, and expiration dates
  • Work in the tray assembly line and operate the ticket printer

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Brew and set up Regular and decaf coffee for dinner
  • Put menu on the tray, retrieve hot food from the cooks area
  • Prep Ambassador Cart for loading station.
  • May process payments including cash and credit/debit card transactions REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.   • Ensure safe and proper handling of cold foods
  • Prepares and serves food items for patient meal service
  • Load Patient’s meal tray in the delivery cart. Help deliver Patient meal tray to Clinical unit like ER, PACU, and Surgery Pavilion.
  • Day shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Restock area and refrigerators with supplies for next day operation and use FIFO method.
  • Able to work simultaneously with multiple orders, managing time to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately.
  • Assemble the tray using the proper plating guidelines accurately and attractively
