Are you interested in working with some of Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable citizens in the field of Food Services? If so, Ebensburg Center would love to have you join our team as a Food Service Manager.
In this administrative position you will assist in the planning, organizing, and directing of the food production and service operations. Responsibilities include overseeing staffing needs for food service operations; interviewing and recommending applicants for employment; determining priorities, schedules, and assigning work; reviewing performance of subordinate staff; and reviewing work schedules to meet departmental objectives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Overtime as required.
- Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, rotating days off, with 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of supervisory experience involving the preparation of special diet menus in a school, hospital, nursing home or closely related institutional food service operation.
- One year of supervisory experience involving the preparation of special diet menus in a school, hospital, nursing home or closely related institutional food service operation and a bachelor's degree with major coursework in foods, nutrition, dietetics, food service, institutional management or a related field. or

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
