Job Description

GENERAL KITCHEN WORKER Central Office
Monday-Friday 9:00am - 1:15pm


:
  • Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
  • Training to work / coverage for Primary schools
  • Packing Meals
  • Pulling Inventory for Primary Schools
  • Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion
control.
  • Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • End of day cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing pans
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Training is provided.
  • Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • This requires physical mobility along with full understanding of sanitation practices.
  • Serv Safe Certification Required
