Pathways Center Community Service Board (CSB) provides behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disease services in the west central Georgia region. Our team consists of a number of qualified professionals including Psychiatrists, Nurses, Licensed Clinicians, and experienced case managers that work together to provide high quality care. Pathways Center offers services ranging from crisis stabilization and residential programs to basic outpatient care.
Pathways Center 's administrative team provides operational support and service company-wide, which enables direct care team members to focus on each client/patient. The individual in this role is a part of the company's administrative team focused on food service preparation for patients/clients in a 24/7 clinical program based in Newnan, GA.
Responsibilities for the Food Service Operations Associate include but are not limited to the following:

• May train team members in the proper handling, cooking, storage, and serving of food, and in the proper utilization and maintenance of food preparation equipment
• Demonstrates cost awareness in the use of property and supplies
• Reports equipment maintenance needs immediately to supervisor
• E nsures the kitchen area to include serving tables are sanitized and clean on a daily basis
• Follows safe food handling procedures and emphasizes the importance of doing so to other team members
• Assembles, prepares, and cooks food according to daily menus
• Inspects food during preparation, cooking, serving, and storage to ensure recipes and established guidelines are being followed
• Accounts for expendable and non-expendable supplies used during food preparation and other shift operations
• Ensures food is served quickly and effectively, and in a pleasant, courteous and attractive manner
• Oversees the replenishing of food supplies and the breakdown of the service area at the end of the shift
• Stores food according to proper temperature guidelines and in appropriate area
• Performs user preventive maintenance on food service equipment
• Ensures chairs and tables in dining area are arranged in a safe, clean, and presentable fashion

High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in the area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower level Food Svc Worker 2 (FFS011) or position equivalent.
