Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.
• Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.

Complexity of Work:

• Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
• Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
• Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.

Work Experience:

• Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
• Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
• Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

In support of the organizational flu compliance program, provides services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocol of the healthcare organization.

Main Campus and Regional Hospitals. Have to be willing to work at Main Campus.

Must be able to work at least 2- 3 shifts a week. Can pick your own shifts. Must work full shift (8 or 10s available)

Monday- Friday Day shift varying shifts from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturdays 6:00 am -1:00 pm.

Looking for Full Time as much as possible.

Must be comfortable giving injections.
