Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a floor installer for our flooring department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in manufacturing production while working 10 hr. shifts in our floor barn area.


Job Responsibilities
  • Enforce all company procedures and work standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through daily shop floor meetings, effective communication, and develop an efficient team which executes production requirements, changes, customer needs and process improvements.
  • Uses tools such as a circular saw and nail gun to cut wood to specified dimensions and secure wood in place.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure, up to 1/16 of an inch.
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment by sweeping saw dust and cleaning the flooring barn area as needed.
  • Work side by side with new floor installers.
  • Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
  • Make sure all team members are trained to effectively perform their job duties. Develop and train back up team members. Assist in team building and encouraging teamwork.

Education – Experience Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
  • Continuously exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40+ pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Continuously exposed to a manufacturing/industrial environment.
