We are currently looking for a Parts Distribution Center Flex Warehouse Worker to join our team in Kirkland, Quebec PDC.
This role will be responsible for picking, sorting and packing of various dealers’ orders to an assigned carts or cages. Preparing dealer shipping labels using computerized shipping systems as well as Bill of lading/manifests for all shipments.
Job functions Include but are not limited to:
Picking orders from locations as specified on preprinted batch pick labels
Sorting parts by Dealer name and code
Packing parts as needed in packing material to prevent transit damage
Consolidates items into containers/cartons and can identify number of pieces and weight on packing slip
Being able to distinguish discrepancies and make call outs to leadership of such issues
Prepares Dealer shipping labels using computerized shipping system
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year experience in a general warehouse
Effective listening skills when given instruction
Ability to communicate diplomatically with co workers
Sensory demands required by this position are moderate focusing on ensuring that the numbers on parts are accurate.
The candidate should be certified and be able to drive machines (forklift and order picker)
The shift is from (11h30am-20h00pm), and it includes 1$/hour extra to the base rate.
Physical demands are higher and include lifting of cartons for shipping and receiving goods along with prolonged level of standing/walking
