Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy
• Experience working on Isuzu fleet trucks is ideal (not required)
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and a background check
• A minimum of 6 months of automotive service experience required
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Comfortable working on a team and independently
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy shop environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Perform work specified on the repair order per dealership standards
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
