Job Details

Reporting directly to Finance Director, the Financial Reporting Leader will be responsible for the consolidation and reporting for all entities. Primary role is to be the administrator/owner of the reporting tool (currently PULSE) for the entities of the Michelin Group. He or she will work closely with the Super Users & CFO's of each LB to ensure DB & LB reporting needs are met. LB CFOs are responsible for accurate & timely close submissions & reporting. This role is the key contact for all close and reporting with Group Finance and reporting to the DB CFOs. He or she will work with LB CFOs to enhance value bricks over time.

Job Specification

Administrator Reporting Tool (currently PULSE)

Understand & manage the system configuration/data structure including dimensions/elements, security, data

integrity, user training and adopt governance best practices.

Ensure that the reporting process is robust and is aligned with stakeholder expectations including ease of use.

Perform all administrative functions including monthly updates to exchange rates, time and version details in

reports, locking down data, archiving history, managing versions, report management.

Support users with system & technical knowledge on data & reporting including mapping updates.

Financial Consolidation & Reporting

Responsible for understanding Group close calendar, requirements and deadlines and communicating close

instructions to LBS.

Responsible for ensuring data input process is robust & that data adequately validated.

Responsible for consolidating FLASH results on work-day 2 and reporting to LBS & DBs.

Responsible for the consolidation, elimination entries and PULSE Book reporting & dashboards.

Assist LBS to extract data for business reviews and analysis in an efficient manner. Responsible for the

budget/forecast & PSQ data processes both within the LBS & with Group Finance.

Will be required to perform adhoc analyses for various purposes.

Develop tools and processes to identify areas of improvement and simplification in reporting.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with Controllership experience.

Experience With Adaptive Insights Or Other Similar Reporting Systems.

Minimum of 8-10 years related experience in a finance role.

Advanced skills in Excel with pivot table, v-look ups, queries, formulas, and charts creating financial reports.

Proven ability to prepare/analyze detailed finance trends to highlight anomalies in business performance.

Strong financial modeling experience.

Ability to read financial statements and make informed decisions based on large sets of data.

Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.

Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
