Job Description

The Financial Assistant is primarily responsible for completing assigned financial projects and tasks in an efficient and timely manner, so the organization's operations can run smoothly. This position supports a variety of programs and the ideal candidate is one who is willing to learn, adapt, and navigate a fast paced environment. This position is mainly remote, but may require traveling within Central Indiana and attending events or supporting programs in-person.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in creating and setting budgets, forecasting, pricing.
  • Prepare receipts, vouchers, invoices, etc.
  • Conduct market research as needed.
  • Help with financial data entry, accounting, and general bookkeeping.

Qualifications


The Financial Assistant will be thoroughly committed to DNOVA's mission.


Demonstrable Experience And Other Qualifications Include


  • Action-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and innovative approach to solve challenges.
  • Experience working with spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people, as well as independently.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field preferred
