Arconic is currently in search of Finance Interns to join our Corporate Headquarters Team in Pittsburgh, PA .

Selected candidates will be offered a position in one of three areas: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) , Financial Shared Services or Treasury . As an intern for Arconic Finance, you will be a valued member of a high-performance team serving a Fortune 500 company. The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the planning and forecasting, accounting, credit, cash management, commodity trading and/or corporate finance areas. Following the Internship, you may be invited to join Arconic as a Full-Time employee.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the planning and forecasting, accounting, credit, cash management, commodity trading and/or corporate finance areas.
• The candidate will be working on projects and/or process improvement initiatives and interacting with the Corporate and business unit finance leaders on the overall daily activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics or statistics

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess strong leadership competencies, and strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
• Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
• Share an affinity for working with numbers and data.
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team; and the ability to understand complex business issues.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.
