The Opportunity

We are partnering with one of the regions largest employers. An expanding multinational FMCG group with an outstanding reputation. You’ll be joining a FTSE 250 UK market-leader.

Your role isn’t month end grind, it isn’t VAT returns or balance sheet recs… it’s a chance to get out into the operational business and work in close partnership with the managers and directors across the modern production facilities locally.

There’s major scope to progress within a group that has an incredible record of internal promotion (both UK and overseas promotion opportunities are available).

Your day job is bringing the numbers to life and producing MI that can influence change and key decision making. You’ll be digging into labour and material variances, utilisation stats, Capex ROI, profit and margin drivers… all added value activity in a setting where you can make a difference weekly rather than an "eat sleep month end repeat!" setting.

It would be a perfect career move for a management accountant / business partner who loves change, improvement and projects rather than standard BAU.

There’s routine reporting and management accounting but the focus is making a difference and proactive business partnering rather than counting the beans.

You’ll Be

• Someone able to translate reasonably complex weekly financial data into meaningful snapshots and insights.
• Someone keen to make a real impact.
• A confident and commercially aware finance professional with previous management accounting experience within manufacturing (FMCG would be an awesome advantage).
• Someone who loves speaking to colleagues out in the factory / production units.
• CIMA or equivalent ideally.
