Job Description
PICK YOUR LOCATION: We have offices in Denver, CO, Austin, TX, and Cedar Park, TX.


PICK YOUR HOURS: Monday-Friday, you choose: 10a-7p or 9a-6p (CO only), or 8a-5p (TX only).


  • This role also requires two Saturday half-shifts per month in addition.

Summary


The Filing Clerk, or what we also refer to as the Titles Admin is responsible for assisting the title department with vehicle title administration, data entry and managing departmental files. Oversee the movement, distribution, and overall logistical management of all files in the titles department. Manages all incoming mail from various avenues and oversees the formal scanning and documentation process of incoming mail.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:


  • Recording and mailing of all lender payoff checks.
  • Manage the overall mail process for The Savings Group
  • Understands or can learn the basics of logistical product/file movement, distribution, and retention.
  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of The Savings Group’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Prepares documents for review by Fulfilment and Titles QA departments.
  • Other duties as business needs dictate.
  • Maintains excellent job knowledge of the processes, products, systems, compliance, and company information, as well as continual professional development through personalized training with management, classes, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.
  • Must maintain quarterly production goals for this role. Monthly goals to be given at the beginning of each quarter and may vary based on skill level, volume, and departmental need.
  • Maintain a system of record in accordance with department processes
  • File, pull and distribute records.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of general office or customer service experience.
  • Technical: Comfort with Microsoft Office, keyboarding/computer skills, heavy computer, and phone usage.
  • Analytical: Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all levels of management.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures, proportions, and percentages.

Compensation


The Titles Admin I position pays $18/hr.
