Job Description
Summary


The Field Trainer II is responsible for developing and delivering training curriculums specific to Smart Access and Devices complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources. The ideal candidate shall be an experienced and confident public speaker with abilities to engage, excite, and facilitate classroom students.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Act as a representative for the STRATIS training team as a liaison to various departments within RealPage.
  • Collect and manage client survey data following on-site and virtual training.
  • Make recommendations on process improvement that will aid the department in meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Deliver training content to ensure students are knowledgeable and confident to be successful.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of all smart access and device hardware, including how to program, assign and use devices with the ability to perform during live demonstrations.
  • Assist with teaching new trainers how to use systems, including, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Concur, and other tools necessary for day-to-day operations of the training team.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Coordinate project assignments that best fit the training team.
  • Create and provide customer resources.
  • Content creation using a variety of software platforms.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • Be digitally proficient; able to use/learn Slack, Teams, Salesforce, Concur, Microsoft Office Suite, web forms, graphic design, video editing, and other common applications.
  • Basic content creation using the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint or other raster manipulation applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills.
  • College degree in Business with a minimum of 2 years of experience or High School degree with a minimum of 3-4 year’s experience as a trainer, or in a training capacity
  • Ability to work independently and perform tasks of moderate to high complexity.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% for on-site training and project site visits when needed.
  • Must have an affinity for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Must be self-driven with an initiative to solve issues, propose and create new methods and acclimate to changing times.
  • Must be comfortable presenting materials in front of small or large groups in-person and virtually.


Physical Demands and Working Conditions


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must be able to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds. Regular office hours should be maintained with the corporate office open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST
