Position Summary Field Technician Trainee

Your role as a Field Technician Trainee (Crossbore Technician) is to assist with the operation of our CCTV Camera and equipment to help make our community a safer place.

Primary Responsibilities Field Technician Trainee

• Dispatch the tractor unit securely into the pipe utilizing a crane or hook
• Establish a safe work zone including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs
• Prepare the CCTV Robot and equipment under the direction of the Operator while cleaning and maintaining equipment
• Detect cross bored wastewater lines and collect field data through utilizing ESRI GPS software during inspections
• Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint

Job Qualifications and Skills Field Technician Trainee

• Proficient using current technology such as a smartphone, tablet or, computer
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
• Lift the 50+lbs. of equipment regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able and willing to walk 2 to 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Must be willing to work with sewer and wastewater utility lines

Pay

• $20-21/hour
