Field Technician (Meter Technician) Day Shift

What You Will Do:

Tru-Check Inc. (a nationwide utility services company) is seeking to fill several entry-level positions in the Denver metro area. These positions will be diagnosing, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting gas and electric meter services. Requires driving and walking skills in all types of weather conditions and across all types of terrain. We're looking for safety-minded, energetic, dependable, hardworking, customer friendly people that enjoy working independently and outdoors.

Main Duties:

Diagnosing, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting gas and electric meter services.

Extensive driving throughout the Denver metro area.

Meet strict deadlines for completing meter repair routes.

No experience necessary, paid training is provided.

Ability to walk 5+ miles per day.

Work in all types of weather conditions ie: rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat.

Ability to deal with wildlife and animals is required.

Work Requirements:

Must be at least 20 years of age.

Provide a VALID, Unexpired Driver’s License.

H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required.

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening AND background check.

Pre-placement Physical required.

Job Details:

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift

Physical Requirements:

Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20lbs of equipment; be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned; Performs all work in a safe manner; Observes and follows all company/client procedures; Possess excellent customer service/communication skills; Be available for overtime (which may include weekends); Be comfortable using computers/technology.

What You Will Earn:

Wages: $23.00 per hour
