Field Technician Jobs

Description

Your primary duties would include: assisting with specialty security systems installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings. It is expected you should be customer orientated, confident in asking questions for discovery, able to work independently and effectively take directions, and responsible for task completion.

Job Details

• Basic IT knowledge
• PC builds
• Proficient in Microsoft OS and Linux system
• Service and troubleshoot cameras
• PC construction
• Switch and router setup
• Can read a floorplan
• Ability to use mobile apps in the field and work with a remote team to get systems up and running.
• Service and inspect burglar alarm, fire alarm, access control, and related systems
• Follow a schematic
• Service and inspect digital video surveillance and related systems.
• Configuration
• Low voltage cabling knowledge
• Networking
• Ability to walk clients thru step-by-step, hands-on use of security technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with Network Cameras and/or CCTV systems
• Experience working with Honeywell, Bosch, and DMP alarm/access control
