Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary: This position is responsible for service and customer support of Autotec Machine Systems.

We supply turnkey systems featuring Finishing Systems, Pick & Place Robotics, Depalletizers, Palletizers, Labeling, Pallet & Slipsheet Handling, Case & Carton Handling, Conveyors and Sortation Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform upgrades when required
• Responsibilities also include handling service contracts and directing support services
• Follow corporate policies and procedures
• Responsible for documenting all field service calls on service reports to be kept on the server
• Administer preventative maintenance
• Write set-up procedures and other training materials as needed
• Keep the service manager informed of issues in the field so appropriate action can take place
• Perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair of Autotec Machine Systems
• Responsible for technical support for customers
• Troubleshoot, and repair, system problems using standard test equipment and hand tools

• Able to multi-task and use computer applications
