In this Field Service Technician role for CDK Global, you will perform hardware installations and service of various types of electronic equipment in Automotive and Heavy Truck retail establishments. Primary location is the Atlanta Metropolitan area with some travel required around the Southeast region including the Caribbean.

You will be provided a company vehicle along with spares inventory and applicable tools to do the job. The position is home based and is hourly pay 40 hours a week 8– 5 Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work.

CDK Field Service team prides itself on professionalism and customer satisfaction with NPS scores consistently above 95.

You will install and service the following:

  • Desktop and handheld scanners, Fujitsu and Zebra.
  • Cisco/Meraki Network Equipment, VeloCloud, FortiGate.
  • Wireless Surveys for CDK products using Ekahau and Fluke Aircheck
  • PC’s including set-up for Managed Services.
  • Cisco Webex Phone systems.
  • Printers include HP, Kyocera, Tally, Printek, AMT.

Qualifications

  • Computer Hardware repair skills.
  • Electronic or technical background and Client Service background.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer Software Skills - Knowledge of Windows based O/S and applications.
  • Network knowledge / Certifications is a plus.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Field Service Rep installing and repairing computer systems, or a recent graduate of a technical school or institute.

Required to perform the essential functions of the job:

  • Occasional afterhours and weekend work and on call rotation.
  • A background check/drug test is required.
  • Lifting - Up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driver record and a passport or the ability to acquire one.
